Objective:
The objective of introducing Permit to Work (PTW) training on Moodle at EFL is to provide a convenient and standardized platform for educating employees and contractors about the PTW process. This initiative aims to enhance safety awareness, ensure compliance with regulations, mitigate risks, and foster a safety-conscious culture. It also offers flexibility in training delivery, facilitates assessment and certification, and supports continuous improvement in PTW procedures and training content. Ultimately, the goal is to equip personnel with the knowledge and skills to execute tasks safely while maintaining documentation and records for auditing and reporting purposes.

Health and Safety Refresher Quiz

Authorized to perform high Voltage Switching outside Power Stations and Substations i.e. D/O fuses, isolators, ABS, 11kV ring mains, 6.6kV switches, and 3.3kV switches)

Upon completion of the course, trainees will be able to:

Restore power supply through the application of strategic sectionalizing procedures.

Understand and interpret all H.V single line diagrams.

Understand the system operation.

Wear proper PPE

Operate transformers isolators and switch fuses within the 11kv distribution network

Identify fault protection flags

Operate autorecloser /A.B. S and Switchgears

Test for complete electrical isolation correctly and safely

Apply portable earthing correctly and safely

Able to perform switching in accordance with DSWP, EFLSM
