It’s been 4 years that we first launched the first full Fijian Innovation Framework. During this period we have managed to engage and empower our People to think innovatively. Together we have grown with our EFL Vuvale while being guided by the Innovation Framework. In the process, we have allowed you to test innovative ideas that will in future assist the organisation to sustain its growth while being mindful of the uncontrollable costs and the unpredictable business environment. This has allowed us to be resilient and build resilience in our people during the pandemic and cushion the negative impact of natural disasters. Through this partnership we are able to make a bigger impact on our business operations and contribute as a beacon and hope to other organizations both in Fiji and Internationally.
The Inaugural In-House Innovation Virtual Competition is designed to bring the best out of our Vuvale and for them to continue to think beyond the box and continuously have the ability to challenge the status quo and not being complacent. Your innovation will allow our organisation to stay well ahead of the curve.
Never in our 50 years of existence have we been fearful to test new ideas. We managed to build the Monasavu Hydro Electric Scheme and other major capital projects and process improvement initiatives that has now been active or standardised throughout the organisation. Therefore, we are encouraging you and your Team to showcase the innovative ideas or Innovation concept on 5th September 2022.
There will be prizes available for the most innovative idea.
The prizes are as follows:
- Winner - $1,000
- First runner-up - $500
- Second runner up - $250
